Standard Screw Holes Space: Direct replacement for door strike with screw holes spaced 1-5/8” (about 41mm).
Heavy Duty Version: Made of 2mm hardened steel. For the extended strike plate installed on the door, if the material is too thin and the edge is too sharp, it is easy to catch clothes or other items when we pass through the door, causing the strike plate to bend or clothes to be damaged. We solve this problem by thickening the material and passivating the edges.
Reinforced Screws & T20 Screw Bit Included: Come with 1.55” Phillips Screws & 3” Torx Screws(T20). 1.55“ for easy installation & 3” for better protection. The reinforced 3-inch screw adopts a double cut type-17 design, which can make the screw drive in more smoothly, prevent the wooden strip from cracking, and effectively prevent the screw from breaking off.
Strengthen the Old Screw Hole: Comes with three wood dowels for filling the old screw holes (if needed). Fix the problem that the screw hole is oversized and the screw won’t tighten. Solution to fill the old screw hole and drill new pilot hole. You can fill the screw hole directly or apply glue to the wood dowels to secure them.

Come with 2 sizes of screws

1.55" phillips screws for basic security. For doors with common safety requirements, these screws can be used for installation, which is relatively easier to install.
3" torx double cut screws for maximum strength and protection. It can be fastened into jamb and door frame/trim. To prevent screw misalignment, we recommend pre drilling pilot holes when installing screws of this length.

Bring a #2 phillips screw driver if you want to use the smaller included screws. I didn't take of any points for the included torx bit not working on the shorter screws, as if you have a bit driver, you have a #2 bit somewhere. You are less likely to have a torx bit as a home gamer. If doors are what you doo all day and often, this is a really nice kit to keep a couple of in your box, or truck. It comes in a nice plastic case, which is great for pros who want to grab a single item, and have everything hardware wise to do the job. I used mine on an abnormal door with non-standard depth wall. It works. It just works. The screws are a little thin, but the striker plate is good and beefy. I also like that it has color options.

Installed on an exterior door. It was simple and quick to install. So far, it looks and feels high quality but time will tell. Good value for the money. Wish the screws were thicker

Beautiful and thick extended door strike! Solves the problem of having thicker trim around your doors and the latch hitting the trim. Very well constructed with thicker metal and complete kit with dowels and screws! Great find!
