I first used this seat for an outdoor concert (lawn seats). The chair’s cushions held up well and remained comfortable while I sat for most of the 2+ hour performance. The arms were strong enough to support me as I used them to brace myself getting up and down. Consider that I’m 5’10 and weigh 185. I did have some difficulty, upon initial opening, getting the chair to stay in one of its 5 or 6 advertised recline positions. It appeared, at first attempt to open, as though none of the chair’s prescribed stopping / reclining points were available. I did however, open and close the chair 1-2 more times to find it working as expected. I’m guessing that the internal mechanism somehow didn’t ratchet / catch properly. It’s also possible that I misunderstood the instructions included with the chair. I look forward to using this chair again for other events. It’s light and easy to carry. I may comment more on product lifespan at a later time following multiple uses. At least 3 people approached me, before and during the show, inquiring about the chair’s cost and place of purchase. I guess you could say it gets noticed.

Seat is nice and gives great back support. I like the option to have the arm rests up or down. It's snug for me with the hand rests up. I'm 5'11" and 200 pounds. Wish the seat had a little more padding for long term sitting. Easy to carry with you and set up.

My wife and I bought these to use for high school football games this past season. Man, what a difference! Not only is there the added comfort of not sitting on a hard, aluminum bench seat, but with the seat area and the back area, you actually create a sort of a warmth zone that helps during those cold winter late-season games.Having the straps built on so that you can carry these on your back is also nice to have. You keep your hands free should you need to carry anything else, stop by the concession stand on your way to your seat, etc.I'm looking forward to using these next season!

My husband loved it..He has had back surgery 3times and with this seat he was able to sit and watch what He Loves for 7hrs of car racing

If you live in NYC on a budget you probably don’t have any outside seating at your apartment, but you probably have a fire escape. I got this to sit on mine when it was nicer out, especially in the evening. Not only does it put space between me and the floor it’s also nice to lean against the chair and not sit up stock straight or lean against my building or the railing. The various heights allow for whatever mood I’m in, lounging, eating, reading, sunbathing etc. I tell all my friends they need one!

My chair was so comfy but the first time I used it one of the straps ripped. The second time i used it, but straps that secure the seat to the beach ripped off. So I cannot use it anymore. So sad. Maybe I got a bad one.
