Just installed and so far it's 5 stars! I had to replace mine because for some reason either the little motor in it went bad or some elec issue kept the motor running making a clicking noise and broke off a few teeth in side the actuator. Either way I needed a new one! Just so you know there are 2 actuators in the HAVC systems in the trucks that have the digital controls. One is the Temp/Defrost actuator(located on the left side of the air distribution case) and the other is the Mode Actuator(loacted by the blower motor). This Dorman 604-103 was an exact replacement for my mode actuator(2 pins/wires). There were a few differences in design from my old one and new one (see my uploaded pictures). But it worked fine.Just some tips, There are 2 screws holding these in (9/32 or even 7mm works on'em) and an alignment "nub", wiring just disconnects but you have to squeez and pull on the connector. Also note that you need to dissconnect the battery in order to rest the computer for the new actuator, after waiting 2mins or so reconnect and the key to on/run(not start) and you should be able to hear the actuators moving. I cycled mine throught there ranges to make sure they worked!

Fits perfect on my 1993 suburban. This fits the ac recycle door. Plug it in and put your ac on recycle then Make sure you push the flap of the door upwards while installing it so that the shaft lines up and works properly. There are two 7mm bolts that hold it. Located behind the fan motor passenger side floorboard. Yes I broke the bolt off the plastic by prying it but it works fine bc there's dowel pins and you only need one screw to make it work. Otherwise enjoy dropping the whole ac unit out.

Had a loud ticking when turning on or off a 94 chevy truck. This is the hard to get to one behind the glove box. Hard to reach but I'm happy to say that it fixed the problem and after a few months it is still good.

I ordered this part. Thanking this was a blend positioning actuator, but it wasn’t the right one, so I’m keeping it just in case my other actuator goes out.

My first Dorman part that was faulty. I bought this part in October of 2023 and I have just now as of April 2024 installed it. When I did install the part it didn’t work, so I took it back off and put the old part back in and it worked so I know that the new part is faulty. It is passed the return time frame so now I’m out money for this junk, and I have to buy new which I went with a genuine gm part this go around. So we shall see if I have another faulty part.***UPDATE*** Genuine GM part worked great.

No more clicking when truck is turned on or off. Gotta love GM. It took a while to install because of its easy location but it works well at not making any noise for the last month.

I bought this for my 1992 Chevy k2500 when the blend door started making a loud clicking noise when adjusting the air.It has worked perfect since install and this is a great price.It is a real pain to replace since I did it without taking the dash off.But worth the effort

1992 Chevrolet C1500 5.7 single cabPerfect fit great vale for the money, way less then auto parts store. It was a bit of a pain to install but all in all great product.
