You have to wedge a towel in the edge of the bucket or it's all over the place with the slightest disturbance of the water.

This works brilliantly to keep grit off your sponge while washing your car. It fits perfectly at the bottom of a 5 gallon bucket and is made of fairly thick plastic that should last years. Grits such as sand sink to the bottom by weight, and this interceptor does a great job of keeping this grit separated from the water you are dunking your sponge back in the bucket. When I'm done washing, I pull out the separator and flip it over inside the bucket to knock out a really large particles such as grass from the holes and just rinse off with my bucket. Super easy to use, ingenious, and worth every penny!

The package arrived in perfect conditions and the contents were as described.This is a simple product that fits in in a wash bucket, trapping dirt after rinsing out the dirty soap.Many people will use the two bucket method, but keeping this in your rinse bucket will ensure you're not using as much dirty water to wash the car with.I suspect this will last several seasons and is a great addition to any car detailer's toolbox or DIY'ers.
