Exactly as advertised/pictured. The area to drink out of is on the smaller side, but given that this is a secondary, upstairs water dish it is fine. It also forces my oldest pup to slow down on his drinking too, which is good. Packaged nicely to avoid damage. It is easy to load the water and works perfectly!

If you have a smaller dog that drinks too quickly, this is a GREAT solution for that. I struggled to find anything because all of the water feeders looked like they would be too big for my dog (9 lb Chihuahua). I gave this one a try and its been great, I think it is shallow enough that it slows the amount of water my dog can drink at once. He tends to gag up a little bit of water after he drinks from regular dog bowls, but with this one, that doesn't happen. I also find this one to be really easy to fill/refill.

Cats keep kicking out filter funnel because they can't share it at night. Filter funnel is cumbersome and a waste. (Design flaw)

My two kittens are able to use this easily without splashing water. It is compact. It fits where I want to place it . It holds enough water for several days but I check every day. It was an easy to assemble despite too few instructions.
