Useless product, cheaply made and it does not really work at what it is supposed to do, that is help and to ease the opening metal or plastic screw-top bottles. The item does not grip well, one has to exert considerable force to push it down onto the screwtop. This product is a total waste of money. I find that the better option is to simply use a small pair of pliers of the type displayed in the image with this comment

I see a lot of negative reviews, but I am not sure what kind of bottles they are trying this on. I was looking for something to stop soda bottles from losing their fizz and going flat. My comments are about this particular item, I say that because there are other similar, but I am only talking about this specific item... It works great... I use it daily, and I have been using it daily for almost 2 months from the date of this review... I haven't had a single issue ...

I am able to open most jars, but the caps on milk and other small bottles are very difficult to open. This does it with no muss or fuss. Glad I bought it.

Doesn't even warrant one star. Terrible product. The plastic is too hard and only slips on the caps and DOES NOT WORK. Do not buy this item. Its cheap and there are other openers that are the same price and have a better gripping material. Tried on three different items and all failed. This shouldn't be sold. it should be removed from selling.

The « bottle opener « is made of soft plastic and therefore cannot grip well and just bends when force is applied . Total rubbish.
