In spite of some of the negative comments I went ahead to buy these pins. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they were well made, sharp, and not thick at all. They are perfect for pinning nested seams and hold the fabric securely. The slight bend up at their curves make them easy to insert and remove. I sewed over them very slowly and my sewing machine needle stitched across them without any problem. That all being said just know that that there is a learning curve to using these…as with any quilting/piecing tools and notions. After pinning a few nested seams the muscle memory was established and I sailed through joining the rows of my quilt top.

They work great for nesting quilt seams! The seams stay in place without any flip flopping around.I would definitely recommend them to others.

These are hard to insert and tend to bend. I won’t buy them again.

Although the fork design is exactly what I was looking for, the pins were not fine enough. I was hoping I could just sew over them. Very disappointing since the reviews I read noted that the were thin pins. But they were not fine enough for my needs.

A box of 70 fork shaped pins, suitable for sewing, holding pieces of material together so that you can join or hem them.The pins measure 40mm long and the handle ends are slightly raised for ease of handling.My wife used the pins to secure some stretched crushed velvet, which she assures me is difficult to secure with normal pins at the best of time, and these fork pins held the material very securely, allowing for some neat seams.A great aid for various crafting jobs.She thoroughly recommends them.

Good quality pins, excellent for use at adjoining seams to prevent them from shifting during sewing.
