Your cart is empty.Be sure your lathe spindle is 1-1/4" x 8 TPI. Unscrew your chuck from the lathe headstock without removing your turning. Chuck the adapter in your tail stock chuck, thread your chuck or faceplate with the turning still attached to the adapter. Now slide the tailstock up to the vacuum chuck and you have your turning instantly centered. It couldn't be simplier.

I was impressed with the quality of this Chuck adapter, machined from stainless steel. I mounted it on my bench to attach my lathe chuck to be able to carve on my turnings. This is not how this adapter was designed to be used but it is working great.

Makes mounting on a vacuum chuck quick and easy. Don’t even need to take the bowl off the chuck from finishing the interior until it’s on the vacuum chuck. Very well machined, it screws into the chuck better than the lathe mount!

This item works exactly as indicated, runs dead on true. I use it nearly every day to facilitate mounting bowls into my vacuum chuck. Frankly delighted and surprised to find it simply works.
