There are so many of these, I had a difficult time choosing which one to get!Altering using the old-school shredding claws for so long, I was told about this new contraption and just knew that I needed to try it right away. And after being so accustomed to the manual labor of the claws, I can't be believe how simple and effective this little thing is!✅ it's small and compact but can shred quite a bit at one time. i was able to shred an entire 2 pound chicken in less than fifteen minutes. it cut my meal prep time down by almost an entire hour and a half!✅ the shreds are really clean and consistently shredded. there aren't any left out clumps or odd pieces. as long as you distribute the chicken pieces evenly spaced out before you start turning it, you'll get a nice consistent and thorough shred. you can shred as much and as long as you want to get a really thin and fine shred, or you can turn it jist a few times to get a chunkier density of shreds. so, it's all up to you!✅ clean up is very fast and easy. you can turn over the bottom main piece and tap out most, if not all of the shreds. if there's some left in between the spikes, you can take q clean basting brush and basically comb it out. rinse, wash, let dry, and it's ready for use again.✅ the fact that there's a lid/cap that goes over top of this, and you aren't physically touching the meat, makes this ten times more sanitary than using the shredding claws. i can definitely appreciate that, especially when im cooking for other people and guests.✅ i thought that depending on how thick the pieces of meat are, would depend on how easy it is to turn, but it turns out that regardless, this thing can spin pretty effortlessly! it's probably better to keep the meat, especially chicken, decently hydrated to make it more tender, as opposed to trying to shred, tough, dry, chicken, of course.💢 OVERALL: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ FIVE STARS———————————————————————————————————♡I really wish that I would have been told about this contraption sooner. I could have saved myself a lot of arthritis aches in my hands and fingers from using the manual claws! LOL! It's extremely easy to use, gets the job done extra fast, and doesn't make a huge and unsanitary mess. It really couldn't get much better than this! I suppose you could also use this for all kinds of other foods and meats, and likely even fruits and veggies, if you're trying to get a certain consistency out of them. So, this things is really versatile and multi-purpose. As someone who loves experimenting in the kitchen, I'm sure this thing will get plenty of use ♡

I love that this is dishwasher is dishwasher safe - just time saving every which way. we compare this to pulling/shredding chicken with forks. I'm hoping to try it on pulled pork soon too - don't see why it wouldn't work well doing that as well.

This is so awesome! I used to shred my chicken with forks and that was terrible. Then I switched to those awesome-looking shredding claws, but while those are a big step up, they actually aren't that easy to use because the grips don't work that great.Now this... this is awesome. It works great! Such a simple design and takes hardly any effort. Just throw your chicken in there, put the top on, and spin. Shreds great and gives you a consistent shred that you can control by how many times you spin it. Easy to clean since it's dishwasher safe. Highly recommend.

I like shredded chicken for salads, but i HATE shredding it with 2 forks. Taks forever and doesn't shred it the best. This little device works great to shred the chicken with ease. Would definitely recommend!

Exactly what is said. It feels a little on the cheaper side though and the chicken doesn't get shredded as much as we thought cause it keeps getting caught but overall it does the job.
