This thing is really big. It's hard to find the opening to get the ball inside at first. It's a small Velcro tab that's right next to the seam. It blends in very well. I went around the edges 3 times looking for the opening before finally finding it. That's actually a good thing because even with cat play, the ball stays inside the matt. My cat is a big 20-pound Siamese, and he loves this toy. I have hard floors, and he loves to run at it and jump on making it slide across the floor. The ball charges up pretty fast and the charge last for about an hour, depending on how long he plays with it. It will stay in standby mode for 10 minutes if there is no play activity. Then it turns itself off. I have a wand toy that is very long and I will usually just whack the ball with that to determine if it's in standby mode or needs to be recharged.

Both my cats seem to enjoy it, even my sedentary cat. The directions mention different colored lights for different functions but not all options are available....for instance, there is no yellow light. And I haven't been able to get this to chirp as it mentions it should.

When I got this, the ball didn't work. I had to disassemble it and was able to fix it, but obviously I shouldn't have had to do so. My cats aren't that excited about it, there are other toys they definitely like more. I don't recommend this toy, there are other similar toys that have attached feathers that circle around which my cats really like and get much better reviews.

This is the worst cat toy I have ever bought. The ball that is supposed to zip around-doesn't. It is lucky to go from one end of the bag half way back. My cat just kinda looked at it and looked away. Was not the least interested. I don't want to give it one star.

All four of my cats absolutely love this toy! At first they were a little spooked trying to figure out what that thing was inside zooming around but now they all foreplay with it until they get tired and lay down and go to sleep. Even my older cat thoroughly enjoyce's toy. Well worth the money!

Other than the very short battery life of the ball...the toy is just as described. The battery dies after about 5-7 minutes but then charges fast, around 15 minutes. I recommend getting a 2nd ball.

I think some cats would love this toy, but mine did not. They sat beside the toy and watched the ball whiz inside, but it seems to move to fast for them. They primarily walked around the outside unwilling to get onto the mat itself. They’re probably just jaded.
