I got this finish nailer to do trim and other such products. I can not get it to work the first time I tried the nailer it was alright but then it jammed, so I cleared the jam and tried again on the second nail it jammed again. I would recommend you get a nailer from a trusted brand so that your not disappointed like me.

Got this nailer to make a frame for my wife to post pictures hung on strings within the frame. She saw it on Pinterest and demanded I have it done by the weekend. The nailer came two days after order8ng so I had a full day to play with it and figure out how to use it. Connected it to my compressor and started playing on scrap wood by using 1 3/4” 18 gauge nails. The depth control knob was the first thing I tried out and found that there was almost no control. From the highest setting to the lowest setting the nail head consistently lodged flush to the level of the wood. Never went any deeper. When I got to working on the frame I had to use a small punch to drive the head below the surface. The other strange thing was the nail strip placement. You pull back on a spring lever and lock it in place, then you pull a guard slightly askew and then place the strip inside before closing everything up. The problem with this is that the slot the nail strips goes into is sort of like a well so you can’t see it once it drops in. If it misaligns you find out the hard way. After my initial use on the scrap wood I tried to pull the few remaining nails out but that was almost impossible the way the slot is laid out and hidden. Had to eventually use a metal pick and a magnet to do that. It might be better to just leave them in their or shoot out the rest if there are only a few left. If you have to switch nail sizes often it’s going to give you headaches. In terms of placing nails into the wood, there were no problems. They all went fully to the heads (with the exception of not driving them deeper than flush with the surface) and didn’t have any jams. At the end of the day the frame came out great.

- Made in China- Includes a surprisingly decent pair of safety glassesHousing is a mixture of what feels like resin, plastic, and aluminum. It's put together well and feels sturdy. It has a very good grippy strip on the handleIt doesn't come with any nails. That surprised me. It's always a letdown when you find out you can't use something right away.I've been using it with DeWalt strips. Working fine, no jamming issues.I don't have any experience with power nailers so I can't compare. I don't know if the way this loads is a common thing or not but I find it somewhat odd. If you change nails very often, I would think you wouldn't like this. I had to use a magnet to get unused nails out and you can't see a thing in there.I was otherwise quite happy with its performance. I'll update if anything pops up but as of now, it's working well for us.Don't forget to use the Smile.Amazon.com address - It's an Amazon program where many everyday things you buy will generate a small donation from Amazon to the charity of your choice at no cost to you. Nice nail gun. It works just like it should. No loosely-goose components or super cost-reduced pieces. I don’t think it’s gonna break.I haven’t put a ton of nails through it I used 2.something strips of 2” nails knocking some gates together out of 1X6 pine material (the extra inch is clinched to keep the gates from coming apart). We go through a lot of gates, and I didn’t want to wait a month to try this out. All of the nails drove straight to flush, and it was easy to quickly put nails right where I wanted them.Balance is good single handed driving vertical down or two-handed driving horizontally in the power zone between waist and chest high.
