The product is sturdy and strong, but it doesn't feel sharp at all, and although there is no mention of this working on pigs, we thought it would be helpful considering it appeared on our search as pig hoof clippers. Sadly, our pig's hooves are too large (we did NOT know about proper care for pigs), and these shears aren't sharp enough to cut said hooves. It does leave a dent on them, so our pig managed to break off those pieces we tried to trim off.

It was a little hard for me to pinch together. Wad hoping it would be easier to use. Good product I'm just not strong enough to hold goat and trim.

Adult Boer goats can have extremely tough hooves and can be next to impossible to cut. These trimmers have made it so much easier. Glad we found them.
