I bought these for a trip to the desert as an under layer for my son. They are THICK and snug. Perfect as an under layer for cold weather. They do fit on the smaller side, so if your kid is average size or larger I would size up. We did these with leggings on the bottom, a hoodie, then Carhartt bibs and a beanie. My kid was perfectly comfortable despite spending hours outside in 40-45° weather.

Bought the 4T for my son. He just turned 3, two months ago and is 32 pounds, average body build/ a titch on the thinner side. After washing these shirts, they fit almost like a 3T, with ever so slightly a bit of room to grow in the arm length. Short length is just a little short for my liking but not bad. 4T is perfect for my 3 year old, I would suggest sizing up one size if you want the short to last all season. Material is soft and on the medium thickness scale, not the cheap thin stuff.

Perfect when they arrived, but one wash later, went from a 12-14 to an 8-10. Too bad--they are soft and well-made, otherwise.

My son is about 80% tile in height for an 8 year old. I ordered the 12-14 size and they fit perfect when he wears an 8-10 in everything else. Great quality, pretty thick and great for layering. Just order a size up if you want it to fit perfect or 2 sizes up if you want room for growth to last longer.

My nephew is a size 5 but I decided to size up to a size 7 due to it being 100% cotton and other reviews mentioning them shrinking. I washed them and had him try them on and they fit perfect so definitely size up. They’re not too thin or too thick, perfect for layering!

We bought these as shirts to wear under little league shirts on cooler days. They're 100% cotton so they're very soft but will probably shrink if we aren't careful with them in the wash.

They shrink a little in the dryer but still fit well. They are good quality and perfect for under shirts in the winter.
