This doesn't stick to a wall or a whiteboard or anything. I don't even know how it would fit over a door. Dont' waste your time/energy with this product.

My office was doing a sports day and needed a basketball hoop. This one worked out well because we needed something with suction cups. For some odd reason all of the doors in our office go all the way to the ceiling, so having over the door, wasn't an option. I will say we did have issues getting them to stick to the wooden doors because of the finish. The doors were somewhat porous, so the hoop kept falling off. After we finally decided to stick this to a white board, it stayed in place. So, make sure if you get this, you're planning on putting it on a smooth surface. Even a bit porous can be an issue. It would stick to our doors, but not for long. Electronics and everything work great. If I had a complaint, it would be most of these provided 3 balls, not 1 and the ball provided here is a bit smaller than other ones. Also, the needle for pumping the ball up, is plastic. So the hoop is nice but the quality of the ball and pump is a bit lacking.

Assembled, attempted to suction to various surfaces, but the suction cups are cheap, and extremely weak. Unit constantly fell to the floor, so packed it up to return.

Works great but just like other reviews stated it definitely needs to be on a completely smooth surface. We put it on the glass on our back door. Haven't had any issues with it so far but because it's on our door we have to take it down every time rather than being able to keep it where it is since we use that door. Gets a lot of use when the kids aren't able to play outside. Quality seems nice. We'll see how long it holds up to my kiddos! Fun way to get some activity while stuck indoors!

Don’t buy if you’re looking to suction this to glass or window. It just doesn’t work.
