It was a little default to thread the flag grommets onto the the rings on the pole. No chance of the flag blowing off once attached.

This is a piece of junk. So dissatisfied. The mount broke after taking the boat out twice. The mount is made out of plastic.Don’t waste your money.

You need to read the description well. The pole it self is not adjustable just the railing clamp is. Otherwise good quality and strong metal parts.

Absolutely does not fit on 1 1/4" railing. Holes in clamp not far enough apart to mount on 1 1/4" railing. Holes are only 1 1/8" apart on-center. Screws aren't long enough to mount on a 1 1/4" railing.

First time out barely 25 mph plastic just snapped. Don’t buy this thing or any of thrones that they have rebranded and keep selling using same picture. Trash.

The metal on the mast and the rings were suted in places right out of the bag, which stained the flag a little. Didn't look used, just rusty. Too much of a pain to return so I made it work. Mounted ok on my railing. The metal rings that fit through the grommets in the flag and through the holes in the mast made a clacking noise that transmitted through the boat into the cabin and made me crazy so I replaced the rusty rings with small nylon zip ties and now it is quieter.
