So far it is as advertised. Thinner than I expected but if it holds up under pressure it will work fine. Hook is very heavy duty.

So far this thing has held up. I replaced the winch rope on my 18ft sea ray bow rider boat which weighs about 2800 pounds.

This is exactly the strap that I needed for my boat. My winch is a Dutton and this strap fit perfect. Install is very simple as you only need to remove one bolt, and then wind the new strap on. I've taken it out 4 times so far with zero issues loading and unloading. I definitely recommend it.

Replaced the existing strap that tore at the hook. Decent quality, but around saltwater not as long as it would normally if used in freshwater. Good price.
