I started to wear it a day after I got home from the hospital, I had a vaginal childbirth. It helped me A LOT with keeping my posture, it was much easier for me to get up straight and walk, and my back didn't hurt at all. And of course it helped with getting rid of my belly very, very fast. At first I closed it on the widest setting, three days later I could snap the smaller one and after 3-4 more days I didn't feel much of a squeezing anymore. It was comfortable and I didn't really feel it much but the only thing that bothered me is that it's not long enough for me (I'm 6'1'') and so it ends right when my ribs start and it sometimes poked me in my bones which was kind of painful. Other than that, I highly recommend. I also advice you to contact them directly before you chose size! I almost bought a wrong one but then I sent them all my information and they helped me with it. It's a great product!

I would rate this product 0 stars if I could. The concept is great but the execution did not work, for my body type, at least.I followed the sizing chart and got a size Small (Waist 28, hips 39). I put on only 15 pounds during my pregnancy and lost it all almost right away except for the little paunch at the belly. I had to take help to wear it the first time (3rd day post-partum following a normal vaginal delivery), but after that I could manage on my own).The issues with this girdle are:- The girdle rides up. Given that my hips are large in proportion to my waist, this girdle tends to ride up, but is held down by the buttons at the crotch. This puts a lot of pressure on the crotch (the crotch extender does not help). I had a 2nd degree tear and it was super painful to wear this girdle as my stitches hurt. Any movement will cause the girdle to ride up further on the sides and the but crack. NOT comfortable at all. I had vaginal pain and increased bleeding every time I wore it.- Given the above problem, wearing it with menstrual pads was super uncomfortable, itchy and painful in the first couple weeks post-partum.- There are two hard strips on the top sides (not sure if plastic or metal) that dug into my waist unless the girdle was pulled up tightly, but that caused the crotch to hurt.Overall, this was a complete waste of $108. I finally opted for a spanx shaper which also came with crotch buttons, and one of those 3-in-1 bands to wear on top of the spanx - worked pretty well for half the price.

I'm so happy! So far this postpartum corset is everything I hoped it would be, and better. I'm just 11 days post birth as I write this review. I got the corset today, will update review after more usage.I was wary after reading some mixed reviews, but I disagree with a lot of the complaints, or at least I am not having the same issues. I tried a lot of different stomach-wrap products after getting a small diastasis recti after pregnancy with my first child, and they all either rode up, were too uncomfortable to wear for very long, didn't stay put, or was too difficult to take on and off every time I wanted to pee.This one is brilliant. I bought a small first, but if I had followed the sizing recommendations, I including the 35+ lb weight gain = go up a size recommendation (I gained 42 lbs during my pregnancy), I would have gotten the correct size (medium) to begin with. I was being a little optimistic getting a small first, but I don't mind having it - I'll transition to that as I lose the extra pregnancy weight.Just put on the medium after it arrived today. It took some muscle to get it on, but when I pulled it up and got everything settled, I didn't have any muffin top problem. At least for my torso, the length it comes up to is exactly perfect. Any higher and it would push against my bra, any lower and I wouldn't have the right coverage. It is quite snug, but good-snug.First thing I noticed when I stood up: how comfortable it felt! I can see how people can wear it for 12-24 hours. My abdomen and back felt supported, I could bend over and pick things up without pain or discomfort. Then I tried nursing. Instantly my posture was way better and back/neck pain significantly reduced. So far no issues with the boning in the sides that some people complained about - it feels fine and well built. .As one reviewer suggested, I'm using it with the shrinkx hips belt, which has also been a great product.I'll update after more usage, but so far after 2 hours of breastfeeding my newborn and getting my 3 year old to bed, I feel WAY better doing those activities wearing the corset.

Ich hatte diese Bauchkompresse auf einem Blog gefunden als Empfehlung für nach der Entbindung. Ich bin so froh das ich das geld investiert habe! Es unterstütz bei der Rückbildung ungemein und gibt einem halt. Natürlich sieht man auch etwas schöner geformt aus als netter Nebeneffekt. Beim Hersteller auf der Seite wurden mir zwei großen angezeigt - M und L - ich habe mich für M entschieden und das war genau richtig - ich konnte auf der größeren Einstellung anfangen und dann nach ein paar Wochen enger machen. Hätte ich L genommen könnte ich das nicht mehr. Ich werde den Gurt noch einige Wochen tragen - allerdings nur 8 Std oder so am tag nicht tag und nacht wie es wohl einige auch machen.

I bought this item after having an operation only having a abdominal binder. I read lots of reviews on the internet and this is the item I chose and I am glad I did. It is very comfortable and gives me confidence in moving around after my operation. It keeps everything secure and is doing a great job at reducing any swelling that I have. The only small gripe I have is that my bottom pokes out of it and I am not able to wear any tight clothing. I however have worn this corset for the past week and have only taken it off to wash it.I would recommend this to anyone having a operation in that area. It does feel good when on and makes your waist look smaller.

I purchased this for use after my second child. It is really effective at compressing the post partum gut. It also definitely helped with my diastisis recti and pulled my muscles back together. My only complaint is the bellefit accommodates different weights but is not great if you are 5'6 or taller. Mine is short in the torso so I get an awkward bulge between the top of the corset and the bottom of my bra. This can make the boning in the sides very uncomfortable.

Although quite expensive it's well worth the money. I wish I'd found this when I had my first child. I'm 12 weeks postpartum and have worn everyday/night since my baby was 3 days old and plan to wear until I'm 16/17 weeks postpartum as advised on the Bellefit website. I was back in my pre pregnancy jeans 10 days after giving birth (natural delivery). It supports your back and helps to improve your posture after carrying so much weight at the front for 9 months. Only downside is the VPL but it's worth putting up with for the results. I downloaded the Bellefit app for help/guidance on size and purchased a small as advised which was a great fit and is was on the tighter set of hooks within a couple of weeks.
