Received this order in good condition. The engine is fast even with a few trains hooked up to it. There is although, a concern about unscrewing the screw. It's not easy because the screwdriver provided will eventually strip and also when I first tried to unscrew it the first time to put the batteries in it, the screw was hard to take out. No child would be able to perform this task. I'm concerned when I replace the battery that the screw will be stripped completely.

This is the third electric train for the wood tracks I've bought. It's good value but you get what you pay for. The switch is hard for an adult to get in the off position. It has 3 fwd, off and reverse. My 4 year old can't do it. The battery door has a really tight screw and the tool included stripped so why bother including. I took a solid tool and lots of work to get screw out and in without destroying it. I can see why a similar one I left at my son-in-laws house hasn't got new batteries in it. The other knock is the wheels barely have enough contact to stay in the track and the train is so weak it can't pull the 2 cars that came with it up a bridge. Have to pay for the other name brand to get the quality on this.

First let me say I was very impressed with the fact that a screwdriver was included. The quality is way better than I was expecting for the price. I haven’t tested it yet but so far I’m very pleased.

I loved his excitement, and he love trains. It was his 7th birthday,and I was so happy that it arrived the day before his birthday.,and I was able to see it on my phone, while my daughter recorded it.,as they assembled it.

Kids like the battery operated but needs more power. Has a hard time going up hill / over bridges. Won’t pull a lot of cars behind.Would help if you could connect two engines together. But there is not a magnetic on the front.

Bought this train for my Grandson for Christmas, went to set it up and the train doesn’t work and can’t return as I have passed the return window. Really disappointed.
