Well if you do, then this is the perfect item that you need to totally give that glove a makeover and make it look brand new all over again but with a cheaper cost than just buying a brand new glove like most people do. My husband have been talking about relacing his old glove and I just thought he was needing just a simple shoelace any old shoelace and then lo and behold I find this little product staring back at me and I was like what is this? I have to see this followed by I have to get this! And I'm glad I did because it was very useful and easy to use! The lace had the perfect length, thickness, and durability. This rejuvenated glove can stand up next to the brand new ones now and feel just as great and just as new thanks to this creative product!

The item arrived as pictured and described, and it was actually a bit longer than promised by 6 inches. These laces are of good quality and suitable for relacing an average glove in a pinch. However, for nicer gloves, you may want to consider other laces.The package came with two rolls, each measuring 87 inches. The laces are somewhat thick, so keep this in mind. When looping the laces through certain holes, you may need to go through some of them twice, which can be a bit challenging with thick laces. However, if you prepare the lace beforehand, it shouldn't be an issue.For those who have experience with relacing, you know that after finishing, you'll need to hit the laces with a mallet to flatten them and soften them up. Alternatively, you could work the lace beforehand—beat it down to your desired flatness and oil it with cocoa butter or any method you prefer. These laces worked well for me, and for my type of gloves, I wouldn't hesitate to order them again.

During the fall softball season a couple of my laces on my glove had broken. My glove is about 20 years old, and up until now I never had torn laces on it. I just dealt with it the rest of the season, and made it through without issue. Spring softball starts in a couple of months now, and I have delayed and delayed over and over again as far as fixing my glove. Finally I took the step to order a kit to fix my glove. I selected the AliBall baseball glove repair kit over the others I saw because it comes with two laces, both 81 inches long, the thickness of the laces, and the lacing tool that comes with it.I was able to relace my glove with ease with this kit. Thee instructions that were included were a great guide to help me with this task. My glove, even though it is pretty old, has been restored to virtual newness with the help of the AliBall kit. The quality and strength of the laces is great, and my glove should be able to remain in good repair with these laces. I chose black laces as that is what I had previously, but if you prefer a different color, there are 7 others to choose from. One final thing, the metal tool that comes with this kit is different than other kits I have used in the past, as you actually screw the end of the lace into the bottom of the metal tool. Lace broke within 1hr of replacement. Then again a second time within a month. My Freshmen son is a catcher the original lace broke and chose to use the orange color lace, Delivery arrived just before practice. During bullpen that night. The upper packet lace broke. Did an emergency repair with some tan lace. Then today the lower lace broke. Very low quality leather. Just broke, didn't stretch out at all

Uneven thickness and weak. Had 1 lace break 2 times on me. First time was when I added conditioner, was pre stretching a bit. The second time, I was pulling it through the glove on the 3rd hole and snap. I have relaced many glove with many different brands of lace, this was by far my worst experience. Will not be using it and unfortunately will have to purchase more from someone else.

perfect for an emergency quick repair but i would make sure your glove has the same lace thickness as i came to find out it was far thicker than my glove lace and ended up stretching the holes on my glove which i was not happy about. the tool itself could be a bit better also as it has a weird fitting application that cause the lace to slip from the hole out mid lace if you pull too firmly.
