I liked that all the parts were of higher quality than the low price made me expect. As it turned out I looks great and all parts were metal. Valve works smoothly. The nut that goes on the bottom was encased in a plastic flange about an inch (25mm) making it easier to install than a bare nut and washer. Important when you are installing in back of disposer unit.Lastly the metal tube on top can be removed easily by simply pulling it out. It is held in place by three O-rings. Warning. There is a white plastic part in the end that will jump out and go down the sink if you let it. I was lucky.Recommended!

There were many unanswered FAQs so I decided to put them all into one review.The faucet I received, sold by Amazon, is a Likuan model NCP8883CP with the configuration: Interior lead-free brass and plastic design with NP-Brush Nickel color. Likuan also makes a low lead brass faucet but that's the not model I received.The faucet is also available with an air-gap, pre attached tubing, and quick connect design. However, those options are also not included in this configuration. Unfortunately the lack of these features many complicate installation, as it did in my case. If I was aware these option were available for this faucet I likely would have sought them out since this has so far been a great replacement faucet.The largest issue installation. If you're not a maker at heart and have minimal DIY experience that faucet may be a challenge to install. The instructions are printed on the back of the box in the form of a service diagram. There are no steps and no sentences. Almost every word printed in reference to installation refers to a part name and size. If you cannot follow the diagram you may need to seek help from a home improvement store.Installation is further complicated by tubing that must be attached after the faucet is installed under the sink. This means if you have poor or average accessibility in the area under your sink where the faucet is installed this becomes a difficult installation. The main reason the tubing must be installed last is due to the design of the large plastic retaining washer that secures the base of the faucet to the sink. In my case the I needed the tubing plumed first before installation so I modified the plastic washer. If you have trouble installing this faucet you can cut a slot into the plastic washer using a scroll or band saw. This will allow you to slip on the washer after placing dropping the line down the hole.Additionally the flow from the faucet is low. When testing the faucet the flow rate was good but after assembly the flow rate drops significantly. This is due the plastic compression fitting used to attach the faucet. The plastic insert significantly reduces the diameter of the tubing and restricts flow. If you do not mind using brass I suggest you replace the compression nut with a 1/4" compression fitting (available from Watts at home depot). This modification cost less than $5 and increases the flow rate.Pros:- Looks like a modern designer faucet available at high end designer stores- Valve operates smoothly and reliably- Faucet arm uses three o-rings for a reliable leak-free seal- Faucet parts come well lubricated--this is good. Many faucet come with parts that are dry-- this is bad.- Base is sealed with an o-ring pre-installed into the faucet base. No adhesive seals. No caulking required.- Internal water path uses lead-free brass and is CA prop 65 complaintCons:- Faucet installation can be a pain. More assembly than necessary must be completed under the sink.- Plain white box packaging. Not consumer friendly.- Instructions are printed on the back of the box like a service diagram. Not step-by-step.

Love this filtered drinking water faucet. I had one that looked just like it for many years. It was for a RO system and had three hoses coming out of the faucet. It always leaked fater shutting it off until the pressure was fully relieved from the filter system. This new one with only one connection, is an endpoint shutoff valve, so when it is turned off, it stops the water dead in it's tracks! A much better system. It also has the feature that when you flip the on/off handle up, it locks on and stays on until you turn it off.

I am no plumber but I have tackled small plumbing jobs before. This was really easy to install IF you have the correct tools. Come to that in a second. The instructions about the washers and nuts was poor. They upgraded this model and it was actually VERY easy to install over the picture and was obvious how to fit.I happened to have a special tool for sneaking to the back of a sink so tightening the winged plastic coated nut was a piece of cake. If I had not had this, it would have been a struggle reaching up to tighten it. So overall for anyone who has done simple plumbing and has the sink install tool this is simple to install. Looks great. I cut off the old plastic olive and a 1/2" of the original plastic pipe and used a new olive and the supplied nut to install the water pipe. All very easy and quick too. Looks really nice, works great. Very pleased (because I had that "tool" which made the tightening of the wing nut easy peasy)

Install was ok, looks ok but black plastic tip looks silly. The handle is a good idea but mine after 30 days locks up at a spot with no water flow and sometimes locks in the down position. Not going to last long and will be needing to install something else soon. Disappointing, water flow depending on position of the valve as well.

Seems well made and works great. The only thing is it came with 1/4 to 1/4 adapter.I had a 3/8 inlet hose from my filter system. Had to go to Home Depo to get a 1/4 to a 3/8 adapter.

Love this! Beautiful, well made faucet for water filter. And a fraction of the price of similar brand name products. It is a slightly dark brushed Nickle finish, so keep that in mind if color matching the regular water faucet.

Perfect replacement for what we had before. Swapped an old one for a new one and it fits perfectly. Glad I checked Amazon.
