Step 1: Wash
The first step to polishing is thoroughly washing your vehicle to get any surface-level dirt and debris off. This will ensure a clean surface so that when polishing, you aren't picking up dirt that will ruin your paint. All of Adam's washing chemicals contain surfactants to lift contaminants off of the surface with ease.

Step 2: Decontaminate
The next step in achieving a perfect polish is decontaminating your car. These products (shown left) will go deep into your clear coat to extract embedded metallic contaminants to create a prepped surface. Rinse and dry, and you are ready to polish!

Step 3: Compound
Here's the fun part. Attach the Blue Foam Pad and apply Adam's Compound. Begin polishing with light to moderate pressure in overlapping movements. Be sure to maintain the 4 P's: Pressure, Plane, Pad, and Pace.

Step 4: Polish
After using your compound, grab the White Foam Pad and Adam's Polish. Apply Polish and begin with the same movements as before, but this time with little to no pressure. This will ensure a perfect finish. Be sure to spot check this whole process in an inconspicuous part of your vehicle to avoid possible damage. When finished, wipe away excess.

Now, it's imperative to protect the surface you've just worked so hard on. Grab Adam's Graphene Coating and apply in a cross-hatch pattern with our Grey Suede Applicator. When cured, wipe away excess and enjoy an unbeatable finish!

I was not sure which route I wanted to go. Rupees just seemed crazy expensive and I heard you have to do a washer mod to get it to work properly. I had a version of the Flex and I liked it until it burned up. I almost went that route again because I wanted to be able to do some cutting..... (has forced drive) but I thought I would try the SK and see what happens. Well, coupled with MF pad this thing lived up to its name. Serious Swirl Killer unit here. It was taking care of the swirls at a much faster pace than the forced drive unit I was using that I burned up. I loved this Swirl Killer so much, that after 2 days polishing I ordered the Mini to add to the collection.

Dose it kill swirls? Yes.Will it make your hand numb from vibration? Yes.Is the speed switch reliable? No it will start off on speed 1 2 and sometimes 3 but not 4 5 6 that happen to be the most used speeds. I have used this for buffing 1 or 2 cars before it started cutting out now after almost a year and a few cars later its reliable to not start at the desired speed. I've been buffing classic cars for over 17 years.

This buffer does a great job in the hands of a careful and experienced detailer. The large orbit makes the job go faster. If you know how to handle a buffer I would recommend this product. If you are new to detailing with a buffer buy something with a shorter throw or you will hurt yourself and/or your ride. Use high quality name brand pads and polish.
