I used to use a piece of springy spongy foam to hold the new shorter fuel cells and it always almost worked, or worked for a while but needed adjustment. I then bought this fuel cell adaptor and it works perfectly. Now I can use the gun without the extra hassle of yet another thing to tweak. I recommend it.
