I've used a few of these dies to knock out some holes in leather and, while they worked well, I wonder how long they'll last or how much use I'll get from them. Build quality is on the lighter side.Aside from cutting out holes, they do come in handy when I need to trace out a circle. So, they do have multiple uses.4 stars. Decent enough, especially at this price.

Great for cutting leather

When received in the mail I thought, I'll give it a try. I used this for cutting gasket material which is less dense than leather. Once, I found my size, I wondered what would be the best way to cut a hole in the material. There is really no surface area to apply pressure to cut. The cutting edge seemed sharp enough but upon my first, second, third and forth attempt it didn't cut through the gasket material which was very, very thin. So I would NOT buy this item again. But again, you get what you pay for.

Cheap and cheerful hole cutters. I'm using to cut rubber and foam gaskets. The hole sizes are what I needed and they are sharp enough. I use a 1 ton press for cutting 6mm rubber and foam gaskets and they cut cleanly. I don't know how long they'll last but for now they've done the job. I did need to spread the press force evenly over the cutter otherwise it's an uneven cut with some failing to cut through 6mm rubber. Bit of practice and clean cuts all the time now.

Ich bin positiv überrascht. Habe damit bisher 60 Scheiben aus 6mm Gummi und 3mm Filz ausgestochen. Bis jetzt kein sichtbarer Verschleiß.
