I'm not using this for metal work. Think outside the box and I use this for doing my glass etching. This is perfect for glass cups and glass beer steins. I can lay the glass on the side and not worry about it rolling around or moving while I do my etching. My have to look into a larger one for the larger beer steins that I have found and started etching.

I love this sandbag! It has softened the ring from the 4”round steel greatly. It works great by itself. I use a wooden rolling pin or my Leather mallet to shape bracelets. I wished I had found this product years ago!!!

I’ve used it once, and it seems like it will work well for cushioning my hands and further steadying the piece being welded.
