Very pretty in person, worth the money. It was super easy to set up with the velcro attachments. It does need to be on a flat surface or else it looks like it’ll tip over. Since it is a heavy duty cardboard material, it cannot hold a lot of weight but did fine with the cake stand and treats I added.

i get these stands for my sister wedding, and they work very well. here's what i like and not like about them:advantages:many size options, so you can use for different things.very light and easy to carry, good for travel.setup is very fast, just take few seconds to fold and unfold.strong enough to hold heavy items like cakes and flower pots.disadvantages:made of paper, so not very durable for long term use.sometimes hard to balance when place on uneven surface.acrylic discs can scratch easily, need careful handling.overall, these stands make the wedding look very elegant and fancy. it was perfect for showing cake, flowers, and gifts. easy to move around and store after use. recommend if you need something simple and pretty for event decoration.

Solid stands for any event. Each stand comes with a plastic plate on top to give you a clean surface to use, and per photo #2, they can hold a person's weight easily, let alone whatever small item you might put up top. I wish there were included instructions though - opening the stands, we did not pull them first before piecing them together, leading to one section being opened too much per photo #3 - my advice is to stretch them out (but not too much so you risk the ends falling off) before connecting the velcro straps.Some small learning curve, and we damaged 1 stand in the process a bit, but nothing that can't be recovered. Overall great for the compact size - easy to store and setup, and gives a very artsy feel to your event, if that's your style.

The Tacsal Large Cylinder Pedestal Stands come in a set of five foldable paper columns with plastic discs tops. Each column is 12" in diameter and each one is a different height. The columns are constructed from paper and are rated for 200 lbs when used with the plastic disc. The paper is of good quality and glued together well. When you set up the column you open it up into a round shape and attach the ends togethers with with a velcro tab, this makes it easy to take apart the columns for storage. The plastic tops give it a flat surface, however there is no way to hold the plastic top on the paper column.
