Disclaimer: I am a vine member and I do get these items for free but I review all items honestly as if I had paid for them myself. In fact Amazon wants its Vine members to be critical of the items that they review. If I take the time to review an item then you can be rest-assured that it is an honest review. These are a good concept but they need to be made with a sturdier material. Pricing is really good considering the package size, but when you try to cut down into the watermelon the top part bends and you have to move it back before you use it again. I do indeed like the idea of cutting melon and eating with ease. Would not buy again unless made with stronger material.

These slicers make prepping watermelon a breeze, combining a cutter and fork in one tool. The stainless steel feels sturdy, but the design works best with smaller melons. A quirky gadget that’s surprisingly handy. It is a little big and bulky, cleaning is a hassle, but it works. The fork part is not great for just eating but pulling out the pieces after they are cut, but the cutter is great.

I was always having to use a fork and a knife or a spoon with sloppy results. This is a cool tool that makes it less mess to eat watermelon or any melon type fruit. Love it! The only thing I would suggest is maybe adding some sort of texture or durable coating around the handle part for a better grip.

These watermelon forks are so convenient, I'm so surprised that I haven't used them before. Makes it so much easier to just cut through a watermelon section with one side and then pick up the piece of watermelon from the other side. The quality of these forks is very nice and they work really well. I'm very happy with such a useful product for watermelon. They are quite a good value for a set of four. I'm happy with these forks, their usefulness, and their quality.

From looking at the videos on how to use a watermelon cutter, I thought this would be easier than it turned out to be, and that it would make more perfect cubes. While it definitely can speed up the job, getting perfect cubes was harder than I expected. The photos are of the second watermelon half I did, after I'd had a little practice! It was pretty easy to get the cutter lined up in the previous tracks made with it ... the real challenge was in being able to regulate how deep it was cutting, hence, the variation in cube sizes. I'm sure with more practice I'll get better. And if I want more perfect cubes in the future, I'll stay to cutting more in the middle for those. I also learned that when coming to the end of a cut, twisting the cutter a bit helped it come back up easier. Using this to just cut a single slice into chunks would be super easy. All that being said, this made cutting up a watermelon FAST. The hardest part for me is cutting through the rind, and using these tools, I only had to do that once to cut it in half. It was really nice to not have to cut slices. And the price point on these is very reasonable to me.As for quality, these are sufficiently strong to cut through watermelon flesh. They aren't super strong, and could be easily bent on either side of the handle, but you won't do that just cutting watermelon cubes. I did find having a fork on the other end was handy, too.
