Review of 8-Pack Coffee Machine Filters Compatible with Philips Saeco AquaClean CA6903 – Enhance Your Coffee Experience with Clean, Filtered Water sold by dongguanshishitoukejiyouxiangongsi who is doing business on Amazon as Mozzoom.These are actually generic as there is not brand listed on the box, the packaging or the filters.Filters are individually wrapped.I install using the manufacturer’s instructions for my Philips 3200 which included putting into a water container upside down to better remove any air with shaking the filter before and while soaking.This filter slid onto the filter port of the water tank more easily than OEM filters but seemed to have a good enough seal.I recently received a basic water tester and compared before and after total dissolved solids (TDS) and conductivity. TDS went from 73 ppm down to 53 ppm and conductivity went from 146 to 76 µS/cm3 (anticipating that the review word processor will not post the characters currently so spelling out the units is microSiemens per centimeter). I cannot check for pH, chlorine, etc.Please note that I start with some pretty clean water to start with but for anything with an internal boiler such as coffee or espresso machines I first filter through a water pitcher with its own filter.Additionally, testing the water that goes through the brew group would give greatly inflated and erroneous results. I drew the water using the hot water function which goes through the steam port.So, these seem to work well.

These non-OEM filters worked perfectly in my Saeco Incanto expresso machine. The only caveat is that they have to be soaked and rinsed prior to use as they appear to have carbon inside of them. I ran a full reservoir of water through the filter after soaking it in a bowl for 15 minutes or so. That is roughly the same instruction that comes with the OEM filters. Unfortunately, this filter comes with no instructions so if you have not used them before you may not realize the steps you need to prime them. Soaking them in the bowl also helps to purge pockets of air so you want to tip them up and down after they have soaked for a bit. The water initially started coming out of the espresso machine blackish/grayish and gradually turned clear the more I purged the new filter. Overall I think they are ok for this price point and seem to be filtering my water without adding any discernable taste profile change. 3/5 stars for these reasons.

I wasn’t sure what to expect. My wife and I definitely push the limits on water filters. We have this one in our Phillips Lattego and it works great.
