These are a good length for most ski bindings. Just one pull over the heel piece to retract the brakes out of the way for tuning. Time will tell if they dry out and break prematurely. They aren't that expensive but it's nice if they hold up over time and more than one season. Most cheap rubber bands dry out after a year and break so I will update if they don't hold up as expected.

I got these to help keep garments from slipping off their hangers, and they work very well. I can see using them for other purposes, too. Sometimes you just don't want to use sticky tape or invasive tacks or staples.
