Ordered these as mailers to send my band's promo posters to venues. And they'll do just fine for that. They're study, lightweight, cost-effective and appear durable. But there was still kind of an issue with the quality control. The plastic end caps fit VERY snugly, which is good overall. Except when the interior edges of the tubes are as bent, dinged-up and rippled as all of mine were in this 20-piece order. I am a VERY big dude, and I still had an extremely difficult time strong-arm forcing the plastic caps into the ends of these. Some of them just did NOT want to go on. So just be aware if you get these that you're most likely going to have to wrestle with them quite a bit to get them to work as designed.Note: I tried to attach a photo of some of the rippled tube ends to illustrate what I'm talking about. But as with literally every other photo I've ever tried to add to an Amazon review over the last two years, the page freezes and won't let me submit once the photo uploads. Multi-billion dollar international e-commerce site, and it's just been broken for years. Sad.

Very thick cardboard. Plastic lids won't fit or seal if the tube ends get bent in any way - mine arrived bent up.
