Great tool, well made, very sharp! Used these tongs even though at the time of purchase had no ratings or reviews. Moved roughly a cord of heavy 18" rounds approx 50 yards. No issues, handle remained secure, tips remained sharp. Hardware holding them together is stainless allen screws with nylock nuts. . These are really excellent tongs for the money (or even more!). Buck the trend toward other tongs and check these out. Oh, and 20" span does make a difference over 16" when moving large rounds, either end to end, or around the middle.

Read both pos and neg reviews, but wanted to try it for myself. Unfortunately it is made in China and I wish we had more US options. I cut a lot of firewood for our use, and am getting older...bending/stooping/lifting heavy wood is getting harder for me...I tried this log tong and it (so far) works great. Seems to be durable and functions easily for picking up and carrying heavy (for me) logs without using my back. So far, I am impressed with it.

Worth every penny. I bought two so two people can lift a single log at the same time. Built well enough to handle the load. Very satisfied with the purchase. Wish I would have bought them sooner.

I tried using it for the first time and it worked just fine. It's not heavy duty, but it gets the job done at a reasonable price.

Not had a chance to put it to good use yet but seems well built (sturdy) and very well priced.After a week of use: Nice does the job. I cant ever see wearing it out.

Good for grabbing cut logs on the ends. The points are sharp and don't slip. 14 to 22 inches seems like the ideal range. The hinge points are a little sloppy but it doesn't affect its usability.

at 56 years old Im still strong but bending over all the way to the ground to pick up a 50 lb log is tiresome.. these make it soooo much easier.. I now have 2 .. one of each hand so can haul heavy rounds to the splitter and up on the deck with much less back strain.

These will pick up small logs and heavy logs.. They came very sharp & ready to go w/ the one bolt needed to finish putting them together...

These tongs are exactly the right size and shape -- so many other similar products aren't. The teeth are angled correctly -- on a cut round of firewood they will grip into the ends, not just the sides. They don't slip off.It's great on a full day of firewood-making to not have to bend over or kneel down so much.

Good grip on the log, got the bigger blocks of fire wood up to the tailgate of the truck to load in a more back friendly fashion
