As other have mentioned the middle shelf is galvanized not stainless. Also, the "stainless" used on the surface is highly magnetic. Meaning this is ferritic stainless (409/430) and will have a higher corrosion rate. Typical high end commercial stainless appliances use austenitic steel alloy and will resist rust and corrosion much better. (and magnets will not stick) Still a beautiful table though, I only intended on using the surface, as you can see from the pic.

Update: Do not expect seller support. You will get none. Bad phone numbers and no email response. While it has a few very minor blemishes, it's still a great bargain. It's a utility prep table, not a high end cosmetic kitchen fixture. Use it, don't stare at it. Top is stainless, but the bottom shelf is not. Don't really need food grade for the bottom shelf anyway. I had to file off a burr when trying to get the lower shelf installed over the legs, but I had a metal file on hand and it was not an issue. All and all I am pleased. 18" depth is a bit light. If you have the space, go for the for 24" model. We mainly use ours for a smoothie station. If you are prepping meat, get the bigger one.
