The chalkboard is thin but it works fine for a doodle activity for my kids. I planned on using it as a cute sandwich board on my coffee bar. The colors that it comes with are great, and the markers I can use on my clear calendar on the refrigerator, so that's a bonus. I wouldn't recommend this for a formal wedding or party, it isn't ideal to use outside and it's small and not very sturdy. In order to clean it, the microfiber that comes with it, just wont do. it needs soap and water or the colors stain it.

I like to write my daughter notes to read in the morning since I’m off to work by the time she gets up. This charcoal board set is adequate for that use but I am happy I didn’t order several for a venue. The board doesn’t function well. It’s not straight and tips over a bit which gives it a disheveled look. The board itself is a little bent so the quality is not there. Some markers don’t show up well on the board. I used purple and had to write over it in in yellow to see it. It comes with a few colors but would probably get a separate set of chalk. The size is what I was looking for: good counter top size. However, I can’t recommend due to the low quality and value.

The chalkboard doesn’t feel like a chalkboard which is a plus. It looks nice. The board is a little on the thin side and doesn’t have any lean to it, and the markers are missing a green one. Not life or death but a tad bit odd since the picture doesn’t match what they send.

This is a cute idea, but it looks very cheap and not well-made, and when you write on it, it's very difficult to wipe off the writing. I couldn't even remove it all. I would not recommend.

I ordered this chalk board for my granddaughter who loves to draw/doodle, etc.I will order again because I'm keeping this one for myself.It's fun and functional at the same time.Whether doodling or leaving messages, this is a really nice way to do it.Chalk AND markers, cloth for wiping, chalk board and wooden holder.Durable, smooth, versatile and very affordable.I thought both my grand kids would enjoy it, however, my toddler grandson will not use it unless supervised because of the sharp corners of the board.This is a great way for many different ways of using it.A good find and also giftable.
